Quirow Demo Archive

The Quirow Demo Archive is a fictional repository built to demonstrate Quirow. Its records describe real objects held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Smithsonian Institution, which have released the images and metadata under CC0. Each record names the institution that holds the original.

The collections are arranged and described the way a small archive would arrange and describe its own holdings: in collections and series, with scope and content notes, authorized names for creators and sitters, subject and genre terms, rights statements, and a link to the original for every item. They exist to show what Quirow does with real material, so feel free to explore, and if you have the demo sign-in, to edit.
